DARK TEMPTATIONS

DARKNESS DARKNESS EVERY WHERE...
I KNOW THIS DARKNESS VERY WELL...
BUT I AM IN-COGNIZANT OF ITS BEGINNING...

I SOUGHT THE ALMIGHTY,FOR THE ROOT OF THIS STYX...
AT LAST I CAN BEAR OUT, IT IS COMING FROM MY BOSOM,
AS A BOLT FROM THE BLUE..

DARKNESS DARKNESS EVERY WHERE....
THE DARKNESS HAS HER SHADE,SHADE OF HER PAST MEMORIES
I WOULD LIKE TO DIVE IN TO THE DEEP..
DEEP AND DEEP OF THIS DARK..

SHE SHOULD BE THERE WITH HER CANDLES,
CANDLES OF HER DREAMS AND HOPES....!
IT WILL MAKE ME BRIGHT, EVEN IN THAT DARKNESS.........!

Faint

I am a little bit of loneliness, a little bit of disregard
Handful of complaints but I can't help the fact
That everyone can see these scars
I am what I want you to want, what I want you to feel
But it's like no matter what I do, I can't convince you
To just believe this is real
So I, let go watching you turn your back like you always do
Face away and pretend I'm not
But I'll be here 'cause you're all that I've got

I can't feel the way I did before
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored
Time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me I won't be ignored

I am, a little bit insecure, a little unconfident
'Cause you don't understand I do what I can
But sometimes I don't make sense
I am, what you never want to say, but I've never had a doubt
It's like no matter what I do I can't convince you for once just to hear me out
So I, let go watching you turn your back like you always do
You face away and pretend I'm not
But I'll be here 'cause you're all that I've got

You hear me out now
You're gonna listen to me like it or not
Right now, hear me out now
You're gonna listen to me like it or not
Right now

Charge your phone with coffee and beer

A new device that can charge your mobile phone with a hot cup of coffee or a cold beer mug has been developed by a US company.

The company claims that the two-sided Epiphany onE Puck converts the warmth of your hot cocoa or iced beverage into power for your phone. The lightweight device is portable enough to store in your purse or day bag for emergencies.

The device uses a Stirling engine powered solely by heat disparities to generate the electricity to keep your phone up and running, Gizmag reported.

Stirling engines were actually invented in 1816 as a rival to the steam engine, but its use was limited to low-power applications for a long time.

Epiphany Labs is using modern materials to use the technology in a rather different way. The most obvious evolution comes in terms of size.

The working prototype of the Epiphany onE Puck is not much larger than the bottom of a cup, so it's small enough to carry around easily.

The device has two sides - a blue side for cold drinks and a red side for hot drinks. According to its creators, a hot drink is the optimal way to charge a device.

It comes with a USB port that can charge any device that draws 1000mA or less. This means it can charge iPhones, Androids, iPods and other USB-based devices.

Epiphany Labs claims that, in ideal circumstances, the device would be able to charge your phone at the same speed you would see plugging it in directly to a wall.

It will also work in less-than-ideal conditions, but if you are not placing a fresh hot drink on the Puck, you will have to wait a little longer for your device to receive a full charge.

The team from Epiphany Labs has a working prototype, and is turning to Kickstarter to get the funding needed for production.

Baby, please don't go, go, go, go

Let's run away... from these lies Back to yesterday, safe tonight
I feel the sun creeping up like tick tock
I'm trying to keep you in my head but if not
We'll just keep running from tomorrow with our lips locked
Yeah, you got me begging, begging
Baby, please don't go If I wake up tomorrow will you still be here?
I don't know if you feel the way I do If you leave, I'm gonna find you
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't, baby, please don't
Baby, please don't run away
From my bed and start another day Stay instead
I feel the sun creeping up like tick tock
I'm trying to keep you in my head but if not
We'll just keep running from tomorrow with our lips locked
Yeah, you got me begging, begging
Baby, please don't go
If I wake up tomorrow will you still be here?
I don't know if you feel the way I do If you leave I'm gonna find you
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't, baby, please don't Baby, please don't
I stay running from tomorrow
I stay running from tomorrow
Well, I stay running from tomorrow
Said, I stay running from tomorrow
Baby, please don't go (Please don't go)
If I wake up tomorrow will you still be here?
I don't know if you feel the way I do
If you leave I'm gonna find you (I'm gon', I'm gon', I'm gonna find you)
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go (Don't leave me, leave me)
Baby, please don't go, go, go, go
Baby, please don't, baby, please don't run away

Google glasses' hidden dangers

Image
If you think texting while walking is dangerous, just wait until everyone starts wearing Google's futuristic, internet-connected glasses.
Directions to your destination appear literally before your eyes. You can talk to friends over video chat, take a photo or even buy a few things online as you walk around.
These glasses can do anything a smartphone or tablet computer does now -- and then some.
Google gave a glimpse of "Project Glass" in a video and blog post this week. Still in an early prototype stage, the glasses open up endless possibilities-as well as challenges to safety, privacy and fashion sensibility.
The prototypes have a sleek wrap-around look and appear nothing like clunky 3D glasses. But if Google isn't careful, they could be dismissed as a kind of Bluetooth earpiece of the future, a fashion faux-pas where bulky looks outweigh marginal utility.
In development for a couple of years, the project is the brainchild of Google X, the online search-leader's secret facility that spawned the self-driving car and could one day let people ride elevators into space.
If it takes off, it could bring reality another step closer to science fiction, where the line between human and machine blurs.
"My son is 4 years old and this is going to be his generation's reality," said Guy Bailey, who works as a social media supervisor for Kennesaw State University outside Atlanta. He expects it might even be followed by body implants, so that in 10 years or so you'll be able to get such a "heads-up" display inside your head.
At its best, the goal is to make your life easier by putting the tools now at your fingertips in front of your eyes.
"There is a lot of data about the world that would be great if more people had access to as they are walking down the street," said Jason Tester, research director at the nonprofit Institute For the Future in Palo AltoCalifornia.
That said, "once that information is not only at our fingertips but literally in our field of view, it may become too much."
Always-on smartphones with their constant Twitter feeds, real-time weather updates and "Angry Birds" games are already leaving people with a sense of information overload. But at least you can put your smartphone away. Having all that in front of your eyes could become too much.

"Where'd You Go?"

"Where'd You Go?"

Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.

She said "Some days I feel like shit,
Some days I wanna quit, and just be normal for a bit,"
I don't understand why you have to always be gone,
I get along but the trips always feel so long,
And, I find myself trying to stay by the phone,
'Cause your voice always helps me to not feel so alone,
But I feel like an idiot, workin' my day around the call,
But when I pick up I don't have much to say,
So, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singing "Where'd you go?"

I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...

You know the place where you used to live,
Used to barbecue up burgers and ribs,
Used to have a little party every Halloween with candy by the pile,
But now, you only stop by every once and a while,
Shit, I find myself just fillin' my time,
With anything to keep the thought of you from my mind,
I'm doin' fine, and I'm plannin' to keep it that way,
You can call me if you find that you have something to say,
And I'll tell you, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singing "Where'd you go?"

I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...

I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', no longer debatin',
Tired of sittin' and hatin' and makin' these excuses,
For why you're not around, and feeling so useless,
It seems one thing has been true all along,
You don't really know what you've got 'til it's gone,
I guess I've had it with you and your career,
When you come back I won't be here and you can sing it...

Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...

The Solitary Reaper : Remember??!!

The Solitary Reaper

Behold her, single in the field,
Yon solitary Highland Lass!
Reaping and singing by herself;
Stop here, or gently pass!
Alone she cuts and binds the grain,
And sings a melancholy strain;
O listen! for the Vale profound
Is overflowing with the sound.

No Nightingale did ever chaunt
More welcome notes to weary bands
Of travellers in some shady haunt,
Among Arabian sands:
A voice so thrilling ne'er was heard
In spring-time from the Cuckoo-bird,
Breaking the silence of the seas
Among the farthest Hebrides.

Will no one tell me what she sings?--
Perhaps the plaintive numbers flow
For old, unhappy, far-off things,
And battles long ago:
Or is it some more humble lay,
Familiar matter of to-day?
Some natural sorrow, loss, or pain,
That has been, and may be again?

Whate'er the theme, the Maiden sang
As if her song could have no ending;
I saw her singing at her work,
And o'er the sickle bending;--
I listened, motionless and still;
And, as I mounted up the hill,
The music in my heart I bore,
Long after it was heard no more.

I'll be watching you

Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day
And every word you say
Every game you play, every night you stay
I'll be watching you

Oh can't you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches
With every step you take

Every move you make
And every vow you break
Every smile you fake, every claim you stake
I'll be watching you

Since you've gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night I can only see your face
I look around but it's you I can't replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace

I keep crying baby, baby, please

Oh can't you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches
With every step you take

Every move you make
And every vow you break
Every smile you fake, every claim you stake
I'll be watching you

1 in 5 bosses reject candidates after seeing their Facebook profiles

Job seekers are being warned to be far more vigilant over what they reveal on social networking sites, as it could cost them their career.

A fifth of IT executives admitted they have rejected applicants because of what they have posted on social media.

The worrying news was revealed in the 2012 annual technology market survey conducted by Euro com Worldwide, the Global PR Network, in association with UK PR agency partner, Six Degrees.

The annual study has previously found that almost 40 per cent of respondents' companies look at potential employees' profiles on social media sites - but this is the first clear evidence that candidates are being rejected because of them.

"The 21st-century human is learning that every action leaves an indelible digital trail," the Daily Mail quoted Mads Christensen, Network Director at Euro com Worldwide, as saying.

"In the years ahead, many of us will be challenged by what we are making public in various social forums today.

"The fact that one in five applicants disqualify themselves from an interview because of content in the social media sphere is a warning to job seekers and a true indicator of the digital reality we now live in," Christensen said.

The survey also revealed that while nearly half of technology executives say that their firms will increase their expenditure on social media in the next 12 months, only 23 per cent say they can accurately measure the impact of the investment.

It said that 74 per cent of respondents consider online PR to be important for their company's search engine optimization, with 37 per cent saying it is very important.

The Euro com Worldwide technology confidence survey was conducted online by member agencies of Euro com Worldwide during January and February 2012.

A total of 318 companies replied, with approximately 80 per cent from European countries and 11 per cent from the Americas.

The report also found that most popular social media platforms used by technology companies were LinkedIn (74 per cent), Twitter (67 per cent), Facebook (64 per cent) and YouTube (56 per cent).

The new iPad was introduced by Apple chief executiveTim Cook in San Francisco on Thursday and will hit store shelves next week in several countries. The company said it will continue to sell the iPad 2, but dropped its price by $100 in the US.

In India, the 16-GB base model of the iPad 2 that works only on Wi-Fi is now priced at Rs 24,500, down from Rs 29,500 earlier.

A company spokesman said the price cut will be across the board for all iPad 2 models in India. There was no information on when the new 4G-ready iPad will be available in India.
